(In case you don't know what a mailing list is....) Mailing lists consists of a groups of people subscribed to listen to and (maybe) discuss a particular topic. Basically, any message any message, anyone sends to the mailing list is received by every single person subscribed on the mailing list.

matterial has two mailing lists: matterial-devel and matterial-checkins. The mailing list matterial-devel is our general purpose mailing list. If you want to discuss anything, this is the mailing list to use. The mailing list matterial-checkins is a specialized mailing list that report about new code additions to the CVS. (The matterial-checkins mailing list is only really appropriate for developers. Bascially, anyone wishing to hack any of the matterial code might find this mailing list useful.)
